4:00pm – Introductions and Information about our “Virtual Tour” of The New Duke Regional Hospital Behavioral Healthcare and ED Addition

Duke Regional Hospital is in the process of completing construction of their Behavioral Healthcare New Addition and Emergency Department Expansion. This project is very exciting… creating a specialized Behavioral Healthcare Emergency Department that will be able to intake patients with these specialized needs for both behavioral health care and medical healthcare needs to the upmost and best possible care standards.

Larry Holder – the Assistant Director of Engineering Services for Duke Regional Hospital

and

Ashley Lentz Head, Project Manager for Duke Medical System

will lead the discussion from the Owner’s standpoint on Lessons Learned and Intent of this Project as well as the impact that is anticipated within the community by a facility of this type and capability. 

Kevin Turner- Principal Architect of Human eXperience and

Scott Hefner – Project Architect with Perkins and Will

Will provide discussion and graphic content on the Science and the Understanding behind the design of this facility.
